As well as converting Foams, Tapes, Adhesives, Plastics and Films to name but a few, Lynvale also develop bespoke products for Customer requirements. We have access to the industry standard off the shelf products but we also specialise in problem solving.
Our first example of a technical success came recently when a well known manufacturer of car top boxes wanted to improve the quality of the labels on the outside of the boxes. The problem is these boxes are Polypropylene and, therefore, low surface energy, they are textured, full of plasticiser and are exposed to everything the environment can throw at them!
Working in conjunction with one of our adhesive manufacturers, Lynvale managed to develop a 38 micron PVC Film, Coated with a 200 gsm acrylic adhesive in a formulation designed for the application. The film quality utilised ensures that the subsequent label (screen print) process is high quality and very robust (abrasion, UV Light and Water Resistant).
